County commission approves new No Smoking signs for area parks

                There will soon be some new signs at local county owned parks reminding people not to smoke.

County commissioners on Tuesday approved a request from the local Students Working Against Tobacco group to place signs at local parks that read “Thank You for Not Smoking – Children Zone.”

Most county parks already have no smoking signs in place; the new signs will provide an additional reminder.
