3 companies bid on Bald Point Road project

                Three companies have bid on a project to widen and resurface Bald Point Road.

The Project will resurface about 3 miles of Bald Point Road from Alligator Drive to end of Bald Point Road.

The project will also include striping the road and adding grass to the roadsides.

Bids for the project ranged from about 1.2 million dollars to 1.5 million dollars.

The bids will be considered by the county’s engineers who will then make a recommendation at the next county commission meeting.
