Businesses
in our area are being warned to look out for counterfeit money.
The
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office issued the alert this week.
The
sheriff's office said they have received reports of bogus twenty
dollar bills from a number of businesses including Franklin County
Corrections, Ards Fina, Bayfront Restaurant and the Apalachicola IGA.
Anyone
who receives a counterfeit bill is asked not to return the bills but
to call the sheriff’s office immediately.
